Why go on safari with us?

Our goal is to provide you with the best possible safari experience. You’ll encounter extraordinary wildlife and return with memories that will surely last a lifetime, all at a pace that allows you to fully observe and absorb the surroundings.
  • Our guides are enthusiastic, passionate and extremely knowledgeable, with a wealth of experience in the field with birds, mammals, ecosystems and other fauna.
  • We possess intimate knowledge of the countries; we know what there is to see and where to find it.
  • We are teachers at heart and very keen to share our insights and observations so that all participants gain a broader understanding of the wildlife.
  • You will most likely see- and see well -an amazing variety of wildlife.
  • A typical 14-18 day safari yields over 50 mammals and about 500 species of birds.
  • The pace allows for ample time to view animals thoroughly and take plenty of photographs; we do not rush.
  • Our tours feature a small ratio of leader to participant. Our overall accommodations are excellent, with high quality facilities.
  • Food is important to us! We’ll eat well on every trip, including memorable dinners, full breakfasts and lunches.
  • We provide high-quality pre and post trip materials to enhance your experience, including expansive checklists, detailed itineraries and full-length trip reports after you return.
  • Our trips are life-changing experiences for participants.

"Adrian’s keen eye and incomparable knowledge of the birds and their behavior, which he readily shares, makes any trip with him a sheer delight. Not only did our Tanzania trip give us outstanding views of birds in the best possible lighting, but we also had superb views of mammals, from the very largest elephants down to the adorable little epauletted fruit bats. The fine accommodations, with their panoramic views of the endlessly fascinating African landscape, the excellent food, and a local guide, Ben, with a sharp eye and unsurpassed ear for the birds rounded out our never-to-be-forgotten East African safari."

"This was our first trip to Africa and we fell in love with the country and the continent. The sceneries are breathtaking and the opportunities for photography are endless. We will have no hesitation in going there again."
--Y. Y. and Jane H., NJ Kenya 2007

"The people were great and the food excellent. To make the trip even more enjoyable was our guide Adrian. He had tons of energy and enthusiasm that made even the smallest things exciting. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Adrian to anyone planning a trip to Kenya."

"You want your birding in technicolor? Try Ugandan Bee-eaters, Rollers, Kingfishers ... and those butterflies! You want bizarre birds? Try Ugandan Hornbills ... and that Shoebill! You want big African mammals too? Try the Victoria Nile boat trip for superb and easy photography. Add Chimps and Mountain Gorillas and you have the adventure of a lifetime."
